Romanitc 'Digale' on Valentines
'Digale' by David Bisbal
I wish you all a blissfully romantic Valentine's Day with this romantic music and video. I love the instruments I hear, especially the guitar(s) and the strings/violins. The couple are so serene as bride and groom. Both endings are splendid! Yet, I love the smile that increases on his face when he sees her arriving, and that they are so delighted to be together. The scenery is lovely and the hawk and horses are beautiful, too. David Bisbal's voice is exquisite; love it!!

Haiti: 2010 & Beyond
American Red Cross PSAs for the Haiti Response Fund
Many of you already know about the devastating, 7.0 magnitude earthquake that happened to Haiti, in January 2010. Below, you'll find a few details about it from Wikipedia as well as Public Service Announcements (PSAs) from the American Red Cross, a charitable organization that is helping the Haitians with a 'Haiti Response Fund'. Haiti & the survivors of this earthquake will need a full spectrum of assistance throughout 2010, if not longer. 'The 2010 Haiti earthquake was a catastrophic magnitude 7.0 Mw earthquake. Its epicentre was near the town of Léogâne, approximately 25 km (16 miles) west of Port-au-Prince, Haiti's capital. The earthquake occurred at 16:53 local time (21:53 UTC) on Tuesday, 12 January 2010. By 24 January, at least 52 aftershocks measuring 4.5 or greater had been recorded. As of Feb. 12, an estimated three million people were affected by the quake; the Haitian Government reports that between 217,000 and 230,000 people had been identified as dead, an estimated 300,000 injured, and an estimated 1,000,000 homeless. The death toll is expected to rise. They also estimated that 250,000 residences and 30,000 commercial buildings had collapsed or were severely damaged.
The earthquake caused major damage to Port-au-Prince, Jacmel and other settlements in the region. Many notable landmark buildings were significantly damaged or destroyed, including the Presidential Palace, the National Assembly building, the Port-au-Prince Cathedral, and the main jail. Among those killed were Archbishop of Port-au-Prince Monsignor Joseph Serge Miot, and opposition leader Micha Gaillard. The headquarters of the United Nations Stabilization Mission in Haiti (MINUSTAH), located in the capital, collapsed, killing many, including the Mission's Chief, Hédi Annabi.
Many countries responded to appeals for humanitarian aid, pledging funds and dispatching rescue and medical teams, engineers and support personnel. Communication systems, air, land, and sea transport facilities, hospitals, and electrical networks had been damaged by the earthquake, which hampered rescue and aid efforts; confusion over who was in charge, air traffic congestion, and problems with prioritisation of flights further complicated early relief work. Beautiful Anguilla!

I, personally, would love to be at the serene-looking house by the water that I see between the 'rooster' and the 'Bethel Methodist Church' scenes. Also, I'd love to go to the sandy beach, walk along the road where the palm trees are swaying in the breeze and then watch the heavenly, golden sunset. The music and the sounds of the scenery are quite soothing, too. Such bliss! I think you'll enjoy this video.

'Avatar': Creating the World of Pandora
This an extended featurette for the movie, 'Avatar' (courtesy of Yahoo!) which gives more than 22-minutes of behind-the-scenes looks at the film and the detail that was involved in its creation.
'Avatar' is an extraordinary work of art! I'd say this is an absolute, creative masterpiece due to all the design, acting, training, music and other astute skills that comprised its creation. Wow!
